Club Excellence Nominations

The Club Excellence Award recognizes AHA clubs for their special efforts in promoting the Arabian horse breed, recruiting and retaining members, and creating club projects that encourage grassroots participation. AHA describes its clubs and volunteers as the “backbone” of the organization, and this award is one way they honor clubs doing meaningful work in their communities.

The award is presented in three main categories: Breed Promotion/Community Involvement, Membership Recruitment/Retention, and Club Projects. Clubs submit activity entries by August 31, 2026 which are reviewed by a panel of judges, with awards presented at AHA’s annual Convention President’s Banquet. Winning clubs in each category receive $500, and a separate Club of the Year is selected from clubs that place in the top five in at least two of the three categories.
