About Our Association

Arabian Horse Association Region 3 is located in the beautiful and diverse region of Northern California, reaching from San Francisco and the Pacific Ocean on the west to the eastern California border and parts of western Nevada. The region also extends from the northern California border south to areas including Watsonville and Morgan Hill. This wide geographic area brings together Arabian horse owners, breeders, riders, trainers, competitors, and enthusiasts who share a passion for the Arabian horse and its remarkable qualities.

The mission of Region 3 is to promote, encourage, and grow interest in the versatility, beauty, athleticism, and outstanding character of the Arabian horse breed. With 16 local clubs throughout the region, members have opportunities to participate in shows, rides, educational programs, youth activities, community events, and other Arabian horse-related activities. These clubs play an important role in building connection, increasing awareness, and supporting the enjoyment and education of Arabian horses throughout the Region 3 community.

Region 3 is part of the Arabian Horse Association, the national organization that supports Arabian, Half-Arabian, and Anglo-Arabian horse owners, members, regions, and clubs across the country. AHA serves as the foundation for the broader Arabian horse community, helping promote the breed through registration, competitions, programs, education, and member support. Through this structure, AHA supports the regions, the regions support their local clubs, and the clubs provide members with meaningful ways to get involved, connect with others, and celebrate the Arabian horse.
